When you choose to connect, the CWM HTTPS authorization page receives your existing workspace read key and your explicit consent. It checks permission using a single-row read from CWM's saved-state API and discards the returned data. The key is held by this adapter, associated with a random authorization identifier, and is not sent to OpenAI or included in the plugin package. Do not submit your account password or paste credentials into chat.
The initial single-instance service holds connections and keys only in process memory for at most eight hours; expired entries are cleaned each minute. Restarting the service revokes all connections. Access tokens last at most fifteen minutes. Refresh tokens are rotated, stored as digests, and repeated use revokes the connection.
At your request, the service reads up to 10,000 existing saved states from the authorized workspace, processes them in memory and sends aggregate signals and review-only suggestions to ChatGPT or Codex. Individual member identifiers, names, email addresses and raw records are excluded from tool results. Groups below ten and signals with fewer than ten valid values are suppressed; data older than seven days is excluded. These controls do not constitute a guarantee of statistical anonymization.
This integration does not run new model inference, train models, execute marketing or initiate purchases. Conversation results are subsequently handled under the terms and settings of your OpenAI product and workspace.
The application does not persist query results or intentionally log credentials, tokens or raw customer states. Render hosts the adapter and may process infrastructure access information such as request paths, times and network metadata. Render's documented dashboard log-retention window is 7 days for Hobby workspaces, 14 days for Pro, and 30 days for Scale or Enterprise; the applicable window follows the hosting workspace's current plan. See Render logging. This integration does not add a long-term log archive. Existing CWM records remain subject to the CWM Privacy Notice and your workspace's retention settings.
You can disconnect in your OpenAI product and ask your workspace administrator to revoke the CWM key. Revocation stops subsequent authorized upstream reads. It does not erase prior conversation copies or requests already in progress. Access, correction, deletion and processing-objection requests follow CWM's existing identity-verification and rights process.
